How to: Format paragraph text in Outline view.
Solution:
In Outline view, select the desired formats (i.e., fonts, bullets, case, periods, text style, and/or template formats).
1) Select the desired text to format.
2) (Optional) To change the font of the desired text:
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Font...'. (The Font dialog box appears.)
b) Make any desired font changes.
c) Click 'OK'.
3) (Optional) To add, change, or delete bullets to the selected lines of text:
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Bullet...'. (The Bullet dialog box appears.)
b) Do one of the following:
c) Select the desired font family from which to use the bullet from the 'Bullets From' drop-down list box.

d) Type the desired bullet size in the 'Size' box.

e) If applicable, select the 'Special Color' check box, and select a color for the bullet from the 'Special Color' drop-down list box.

f) Click 'OK'.
4) (Optional) To change the case of the selected text,
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Change Case...'. (The Change Case dialog box appears.)
b) Select the desired radio button from the list.
NOTE: Each case on the list is written as an example of itself. For example, 'Sentence case.' is written with a beginning capital letter, and an ending period.
c) Click 'OK'.
5) (Optional) To add or remove a period or periods from the selected lines of text:
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Periods...'. (The Periods dialog box appears.)
b) Do one of the following:
c) Click 'OK'.
6) (Optional) To copy a text style from one set of text to another:
a) Select the text from which to copy the text style.
b) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Pick Up Text Style'. (The text style is copied.)
c) Select the text to which to copy the text style.
d) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Apply Text Style'. (The text style is pasted.)
7) (Optional) To use the formats from a template:
a) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Apply Design Template...'. (The Apply Design Template dialog box appears.)
b) Select the desired drive and folder from the 'Look in' drop-down list box.
c) Type the desired filename in the 'File name' box.
d) Click 'Apply'.
